mines and contaminated land This team investigates the dispersal of toxic heavy metals and metalloids from abandoned metal mines, and contaminated land in general.
Minerals for development This team carries out research on a broad range of minerals-related topics of international importance.
Minerals policy analysis This team focuses on research related to minerals policy in the UK and internationally.
Mineral resource security This team carries out applied research on issues related primarily to the security of supply of UK mineral resources.
Radioactive waste The team carries out multidisciplinary research on a number of topics important to the future safe geological disposal of radioactive waste.
